If they apply to you otherwise skip to step five so what applies to you well if you're married or, you have multiple jobs and your spouse has a job then you're gonna fill out step, two but there's an easier way so let's continue to go forward on step three if you, have any dependents you're gonna go ahead and fill that out now if you have dependents and you're not taking any other credits or deductions you can complete step three.
And continue on this simplified version or the, quick way to fill out the irs form w-4 but if you have other credits or deductions or, need additional withholdings then you're going to want to look a little bit further into making sure this is filled out correctly but again if you're single don't have any dependents or married filing jointly and, don't have any dependents and your spouse doesn't doesn't have a.
